1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using My Apprentice, you agree to be bound by this User Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.
2. Who Can Use My Apprentice
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are who you say you are. Creating fake accounts or impersonating others is strictly prohibited.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use My Apprentice only for its intended purpose. You must not:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information about yourself or your company
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Use the platform to spam, solicit, or advertise unrelated products or services
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
- Scrape or harvest user data without permission
- Post content that is discriminatory, hateful, or promotes illegal activity
- Misrepresent your trade credentials, certifications, or work history
5. Employer Responsibilities
Employers who list on My Apprentice agree to accurately represent their hiring intentions. Listing a position as sign-on when you have no intention of signing on an apprentice is a violation of this agreement and may result in account suspension.
6. Content You Post
You retain ownership of the content you post on My Apprentice. By posting content, you grant My Apprentice a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your profile and portfolio information.
7. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates this agreement, without prior notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
My Apprentice is a platform that connects users. We are not a party to any employment agreement or hiring decision between users. We are not responsible for the conduct of users on or off the platform.
9. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
