My Apprentice was built by a first year Electrician (309A) based in Mississauga, Ontario. It started with a problem that is well known across the skilled trades but rarely talked about openly — companies that use apprentices as cheap labour, dangle the promise of signing on, and never follow through.
After seeing it happen firsthand, the decision was made to build something that addresses it directly. Not another generic job board. Not another LinkedIn clone. A platform built from the ground up for the way the trades actually work — built on human connection, transparency, and accountability.
My Apprentice is currently in early access. The platform is being built in phases, starting with the job board and working toward full profiles, portfolios, employer reviews, and the community forum. Every feature will be built with input from real tradespeople.
If you are an apprentice looking for honest work, or an employer who takes signing on seriously — this platform was built for you. Sign up for early access and be part of building something the trades have needed for a long time.
